Club Description
Mizzou’s Women’s Rugby Club presents the opportunity for Mizzou Students to learn more about the sport of rugby while traveling and playing other competitive collegiate teams. This year due to the hit from COVID, we have been joining other schools to make motley teams, giving us the opportunity to connect with lady ruggers around the mid-America region. Our Fall season starts the first week of September (no experience is needed) we then have the end of November until February off, and the spring season ends at the beginning of May. We accept new players year-round and encourage you to at least come give it a try!

It is a requirement to registered with NCR to compete, which lasts 12 months covering both fall and spring seasons.
Enrollment Period
Our club does not hold tryouts, come join us!
Practices
Practices are every Monday (3:30-5:30pm) and Thursday (4:30-6:30pm).
Practices will be held at Epple Field (2001 Providence Rd.). It’s about a three-minute drive from campus and there is a bus that picks up at various stops around campus and will drop off next to Epple in the Reactor parking lot.
Please arrive at least five minutes before our scheduled practice time so we can put on cleats and get any equipment ready we may need for that day. Make sure to bring water, cleats* (without front toe cleat, ex. soccer cleats), and an EXCITEMENT to learn.
*if you do not have cleats already, do not worry about it. Come give rugby a try and if you decide to play in a game we can work on getting all the needed equipment by then!
