For over a dozen years, Midwest Fit Fest has been dedicated to providing professional development opportunities to students through collaboration, networking, and sharing of industry skills. This weekend of wellness brings together student personal trainers and group fitness instructors from all across the Midwest to educate and learn from one another.

Friday, April 5: 4-8PM: Mastering Exercise Programming: From Organization to Application with James Thayer, MS, CPT. This workshop is an interactive session designed to equip personal trainers with comprehensive strategies for achieving successful long-term progress with clients. From initial organization to real-time application, participants will enhance their ability to tailor exercise programs effectively. Friday, April 5: 4-8PM: Pumped Up Strength Certification with Tricia Murphy-Madden. Pumped Up Strength is a new approach to resistance training. Utilizing combination movement patterns in a targeted, rhythmic progression, its superpower is the dynamic integration of upper and lower body movements set to fun music. This one-day workshop will teach attendees how to create and teach classic Pumped Up Strength classes for all fitness levels, structure effective 30, 45, 55, or 60-minute classes, utilize the Rhythmic Progression Method for efficient class programs and progressions, build Dynamic Functional Flows using foundational movement patterns and planes of motion, cue for success and empowerment, turn every class into a party with the Pumped Up Strength Party Planning Checklist, and progress exercises with intention.
