Integrated Marketing Campaign

What were the goals and objectives of the entry? Who was your target audience? What were you trying to accomplish with this project?

Promote awareness and support of the Mizzou Wheelchair Basketball team to students and members of the community by creating a cohesive look to the season’s materials – schedule poster, schedule card, year-end banquet, social media presence.

Briefly describe the project’s creative process. Did you have any limitations (e.g. budget, timeline, branding guidelines, technology issues)?

The athletes don’t return to practice until the start of the semester, and the goal is to have the schedule collateral and media guide out the door in October, so it’s often tight to execute from concept to finished product in that time. The media guide budget requires the inside to be black and white.

What were the results? How were the objectives met? What tools or assessment criteria did you use to measure your results?

This was the first year that we were able to incorporate the new Mizzou Athletics branding to the MWB logo, which added significant recognition to the sport. The team’s games continue to increase in attendance and the carry-over of the season’s look on social media was also helpful.

Who designed/created this entry? Include the name and title of each person, as well as a brief statement of their contributions.
