Event Frontline
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to on-campus and off-campus customers by serving as the onsite point of contact for events at MizzouRec. Individuals must be personable, out-going and exhibit exemplary customer service skills. Must have the ability to work non-traditional hours such as late week nights. This position requires good decision-making skills. Must take pride in the quality of their work, demonstrate initiative and be attentive to details. This individual must remain Adult CPR/AED, Child/Infant CPR, & First Aid certified during course of position.
DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)
- Conduct setup and tear down of event space and equipment as prescribed by supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of areas during events.
- Monitor events to ensure the safety of all groups utilizing MizzouRec facilities; as well as, members throughout the event and preserve facility’s intended use.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition, report any maintenance issues and restock supplies as needed.
- At the conclusion of event, all equipment is to be returned to original places, and facility spaces should be in working order for daily use.
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings.
- Adhere to all University, MizzouRec, Team Mizzou, and area specific guidelines.
- As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities is expected in order to serve the customer and maintain the MizzouRec mission.
