  • Spacing of fitness equipment to assist with safe social distancing practices
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations and gym wipes to wipe down equipment
  • Extra staff to assist with monitoring spaces and additional cleaning

Will locker rooms be available for use?

Similar to other facility spaces, availability of our locker rooms will depend on reopening plans and with consideration to social distancing. Day lockers will be available throughout the facility.

What should I bring with me to work out?

How/when can I purchase or renew my membership/locker?

When an anticipated opening date is designated, we’ll automatically update current memberships (non-student members) and locker rentals. The extension of memberships (non-student members) and locker rentals will be calculated based on length of time MizzouRec operations were suspended (March 14) until operations resume, or until your current membership/locker expiration date (whichever comes first) and added at the end of your membership/locker rental.

If you do not have a current membership or locker rental, opportunities to purchase memberships and locker rentals will be available when we resume operations. Please continue to visit our website for updated information.

When can I get my locker belongings left from the Spring semester?

Our staff is anticipating a return to the facility in late July. When we have a specified date, we’ll communicate with students and members the process of safely collecting your belongings. If you are no longer in Columbia, we’ll make arrangements to send the belongings directly to you.

Will guests be allowed to use the facility?

As students and members are our priority to serve, we do not anticipate hosting guests until full operations are available.

Can I tour the facility?

When we resume operations, guided tours will be available for small groups of 5 individuals or less.
