Spring Roar Award Categories

PRIDE OF TEAM MIZZOU AWARD

Nominees must have completed three or more semesters of employment with MizzouRec. Minimum 3.0 JPA required.

Qualifications for this award include:

  • Demonstrates understanding of the vision & mission of the Team Mizzou program.
  • Exhibits style and influence to motivate those with whom they interact.
  • Performs assigned tasks in an exemplary fashion and inspire other employees to improve.
  • Executes outstanding reliability and cooperation toward departmental goals and objectives.
  • Makes tangible contributions impacting departmental programs.

SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Nominees must have completed three or more semesters of employment with MizzouRec. Minimum 3.0 JPA required.

Qualifications for this award include:

  • Demonstrates extraordinary efforts in customer service or program/facility preparation.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to go that extra mile to get things done.
  • Extends themselves appropriately to members and guests
  • Demonstrates teamwork within the entire department.
  • Is utilized in at least two program areas on a consistent basis.
  • Contributes to Team Mizzou through committee, event, or activity participation.

EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR

Nominees must have completed one full calendar year or more of employment with MizzouRec (hire date must be prior to March 24, 2018). Minimum 3.0 JPA required.

Qualifications for this award include:

  • Achieves a high level of personal development
  • Participates departmentally beyond normal expectations
  • Contributes creatively
  • Displays cooperation, teamwork and loyalty within the department.

Superior employee(s) from each of the following areas within MizzouRec will be recognized:

  • Aquatics (3)
  • Facilities (3)
  • Special Operations: includes Business, Creative & Tech (1)
  • Lifetime Health & Performance/Fitness (2)

EMERGING LEADERS

First year members of Team Mizzou (hire date after March 24, 2018) or first year in a cross-utilized/promoted position. Minimum 3.0 JPA required.

Qualifications for this award include:

  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Has established themselves as a core member of Team Mizzou with potential to move into a leadership position.
